Another year complete.
And Christ, what a year it has been.
Let us not forget all of the people we've lost along the way, in one form or another.
We're still going to push forward for their sake as well.

Should I pray for an easier time this year?
It'd be futile; nothing's ever easy. Nothing worthy of striving for anyway.
I should not hope for ease, but that I become better to be able to meet the difficulty.
Let us ask for courage, wisdom, and strength, then. And that God show mercy for whatever gets in my way.

Thinking about all the potential challenges that already lay ahead, so early on?
It's...daunting to say the least. But I should be thankful that I still have enough fight left to even attempt it.
